It is IMPERATIVE that you BACK UP GAME FILES BEFORE INSTALLING ANY MODS.
Some mods will overwrite important game files in order to change the game in the desired way.
Use caution when installing mods and always make sure your downloading mods from a safe website. While modding a game like GTA 5 is certainly a good time, there is the chance that doing so will corrupt your game in some way, or, even worse, Rockstar might decide to ban you from using certain features of the game (if not the game itself).
